Tribal Necklace

OK so I know that tribal stuff is in this season, so here is some Indian–inspired bling.

Supplies: Panty hoes (bahahahaha! LOL panty hoes…sorry, moving on.), a bottle cap, paint, feathers, hot glue gun & glue

1. Paint bottle cap.
2. Glue feathers to the back of the cap.
3. Cut 3 long strips of panty hoes (or tie short ones together) and braid them to make the "chain".
4. Glue "chain" to the back of the bottle cap.
5. Done! Rock your tribal bling!

Life Lesson

Sooo…I am typing this using my pinky finger because the others have super glue on them. Therefore, the lesson is: never, EVER use super glue unless you absolutely have to. See, I was trying to open the cap, but it wouldn't open, so I used a toothpick to make a hole. Big mistake, cause it splashed ALL over, including on my hands. I was like "Well, now I feel stupid." I DID learn that if you use this salt scrub stuff, and rub it on your hands until you have scrubbed off a layer of skin, ALMOST all of the super glue comes off! So, yeah, that didn't go so well. It was my first time using super glue! (I'm only 13!) Don't judge! Anyway, I hope you learned something. :P

I'm sooooo sad! I am on the last chapter in Mockingjay, the last book in the Hunger Games series! What will I read now!?! This is TRAGIC!! I can't wait to see the movie though! I'm 455 on the waiting list for the DVD at the library. *slouches in chair and pouts* I'll keep you updated on what good books I find. Go team Peeta!

I walk out of the shop and this is what I see

Easter fun!

Happy Easter!!
Today I'm gonna show you 3 things to make your Easter special!!

Jelly bean bracelet
If you are anything like me, and practically get jelly beans thrown at you in the days leading up to Easter, then this is the project for you.

Supplies: Thread,  needle,  jelly beans

1. Thread the needle. Make sure it's big enough to fit around your wrist.
2. (Optional) If you want your bracelet to last, you can paint each jelly bean with clear nail polish. It can get a bit sticky if you don't polish them, but I find it easier to just do without and throw them out at the end of the day.
3. String on the jelly beans. If you are making multiples, you can shake it up by stringing some vertically and some horizontally.
4. Yays! You're done!

Egg-celent scuba diver (Heh Heh. See what I did there?)
It's adorable! I named mine Larry.

Supplies: Tempera paint,  paper,  hollow egg,  bottle cap,  straw,  rubber band

1. Cut out flippers from paper.
2. Paint on swim trunks.
3. Cut straw appropriate size.
4. Draw eyes on bottle cap. Glue rubber band onto cap.
5. Assemble.
6. Ta da! Name him!
