Springy Flowers!

I want to show you how to make these adorable flowers. They are great because they are so versatile. You can put them on head-bands, clips, pins, even bracelets!

Supplies: Some fabric (depends on how big you're making your flower)
                Felt
                Hot glue gun
Optional: Beads or buttons to glue in the middle
Something to put the flower on

1. Cut out 18 circles of fabric in 6 different sizes. To make a flower about this size-

-the largest circle should have, roughly, a 4" diameter. Don't freak out trying to make each circle perfect-lopsidedness adds to the rustic look. If you want something uber modern though, you probably should be more careful.

2. Fold each circle in half, and in half again. You should get a triangle. Glue shut. Don't use too much glue-just a bit near the tip of the petal.

3. Once you have all the petals finished, cut a circle of felt. it doesn't need to be too big-a 1 1/2" diameter should be good. Once again, everything depends on how big your flower is.

4. Glue down the biggest petals in a circle. Now the medium sized one. Next the little ones.

5. (optional) Glue a button or beads in the middle.

6. You're done! Now glue to whatever you want!

Tip: For the lace flower below, I took regular white lace and dyed it in tea for a vintage effect. Use your imagination and create your own styles!
