Wow! I've been so busy lately! It's finally getting warmer, so now we can wear our SSR things! Here's this weeks–
Button–Down Skirt
(This one's kind of tricky!)
Supplies: One used men's button-down work-shirt
Enough elastic to wrap around your waist
1. Cut off the bottom of the shirt so that it's the length that you want the skirt
2. Cut a strip from the sleeves that will fit around your waist and is wide enough to accomedate the elastic
3. Sew ONE SIDE of the strip to the top of the "skirt", bunching as you go
4. Lay the elastic under the flap and sew it closed, (still bunching) but don't sew on the elastic, it won't stretch
5. Spruce up the area where they connect (you can sew it closed or add something like a bow over it, which would be easier)
6. Done! Wear your skirt with pride!
{ It's much cuter in real life }
